Dedicated to the late J. Barkley Rosser, Jr.
It is with great sadness that the Harrisonburg Martin Luther King Jr. Way Coalition notes the passing of visionary economist, J. Barkley Rosser, Jr.
Professor Rosser played a pivotal role in Harrisonburg's street renaming. Through him, the renaming reached far in directions that wouldn't have been otherwise accessible. His pushing of the boundaries of his discipline also made space for the economics of Dr. King to regain national stature.
